1 c. boiling hot water
3/4 c cool water
1 pkg. (small) lemon jello
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 can evaporated (Pet) Milk, chilled
1 box of vanilla wafers (crumbled)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 cup of the boiling water with the jello. When completely dissolved add 3/4 c. cool water. Let stand or refrigerate till thickened slightly. Add the lemon juice, and whip, adding the sugar gradually. Whip the milk separately in a chilled bowl. Fold into the jello mixture. Pour into a baking dish (9 x 13) that has been buttered and lined with half of the crumbled vanilla wafers. Cover with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate overnight. Serves 12.
