1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter (1cube)
1/2 c. margarine (1cube)
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 20 oz. cherry pie filling or any other flavor

GLAZE:
3 T. sugar
3 T. milk
3 T. butter or margarine
1 tsp. almond extract
Powdered sugar, about 1/2c.

CAKE:
Cream together; sugar, butter, margarine, and cream cheese. Add eggs and milk. Stir in flavorings; vanilla, almond, salt and baking powder. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Spread 2/3 of batter into large greased cookie sheet (appx.13x18"). Spoon filling over top, covering as evenly as possible. Drop remaining 1/3 batter by teaspoons full on top of filling. Bake at 350ș F for 30-35 min, until lightly browned.

GLAZE:
Mix sugar, milk and margarine or butter in small sauce pan. Heat until sugar dissolves. Add almond and powdered sugar to make a runny glaze.
Drizzle glaze over top of swirl cake.
