24 medium tomatoes
8 medium onions
3 large green peppers
2 cups sugar
3 cups white vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Grind vegetables through food processor. Place in a large cooking pot. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Cook until thick, approximately 3 1/2 hours. Pour into sterilized pint jars. Makes 7-8 pints.

Grandma say:

* If using cider vinegar, reduce vinegar to 1 1/2 cups water and omit water.

** If you need to shorten the cooking time, after 1 hour add 2-3 tablespoons cornstarch diluted in 1/2 cup cold water.
