1 clove garlic, peeled
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
˝ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
˝ cup chicken stock
˝ cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

Directions:
Directions:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, sauté the garlic clove in the oil for 2 or 3 minutes to flavor the oil. Remove and discard the garlic. Add the lemon juice, chicken stock and sugar to the oil. Gently simmer for several minutes. Dissolve the cornstarch in a tablespoon of water. Whisk this mixture into the hot sauce and simmer, stirring, several minutes longer to thicken the sauce. You will have a generous cup of sauce to serve warm over the chicken.
