2/3 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 ¼ cup Plain Flour
2 ½ t. Baking Powder
½ t. salt
¾ cup milk
2 T. molasses
1 ½ t. cinnamon
½ t. cloves
½ t. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat Crisco, eggs & sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and milk, blending well. Divide batter in half; add spice and molasses to half. Spoon the two batters alternately into a loaf pan. Cut thru with a knife. Bake at 350* for 60 minutes, cool on a rack, and then remove from pan.
