1 can (8 0z) refrigerated Crescent dough sheet
1/2 cup raspberry preserves
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1 round (12 to 13 oz.) Brie cheese
2 cinnamon sticks
Assorted crackers, baquette slices or apple slices,
as desired

Directions:

Heat oven to 375º
Unroll dough & roll into 12 x 8" rectangle.
Trim dough to 10 x 8" rectangle, reserving scraps
Spread 1/4 cup of preserves in 6" circle on center of dough, sprinkle with
almonds; place cheese on center of dough; spread with remaining preserves; press dough evenly around cheese & press to seal completely.
Turn pastry wrapped cheese upside down onto cookie sheet.
Brush top with water; from dough scraps cut out desired shape with cookie cutter & arrange on top. Use cinnamon sticks for branches if cutting an owl.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 15 minutes & serve warm with crackers.
