4 1/2 lbs. Sugar
1 1/4 pints water
1 lb. light Syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Place in kettle and stir until sugar is dissolved. Proceed as in making any fondant and boil syrup to 228º. Pour out to cool then cream up.

For 1/2 of this recipe use 4 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/4 cups water, 1 cup Syrup. Makes 3 lbs.
8 of these 1/2 batches makes about 35 lbs. and uses 10 lbs.chocolate.

10 lbs. sugar will make 1 batch Mint, 1 batch Maple Nut, 1 batch Vanilla, 1/2 batch Black Walnut, 1/2 batch Almond, 1/2 batch Orange, 1/2 batch Lemon.
