6 cups sugar
2 tbsp. molasses
2 cups water 1 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 cups black walnut meats finely ground
1 tsp.almond extract
1 tsp. orange extract

Directions:
Directions:
Place the sugar in a saucepan, add the butter, molasses, vinegar and water; cook to 290º or to the soft-crack stage. Stir briskly for about 1/2 minute, then quickly mix in the nuts and extracts. Press out in a buttered pan.
