3 cups maple sugar
3 tbsp. water
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nut meats

Directions:
Directions:
Spread nuts in buttered pan. cook sugar, syrup and to 395º or to hard-crack stage. Add butter and cook to 300º. Add soda and vanilla. Pour into pan; cool. Break into pieces.
