1 cup lukewarm water
2 packets yeast
1/2 cup shortening

Directions:
Scald milk and pour it over sugar, salt, shortening.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Add beaten eggs.
When milk has cooled to lukewarm, add the yeast mixture.
Beat well.
Add flour gradually, beating well until too thick to beat, then add remaining flour, kneading by hand (add just enough flour that dough can be handled).
Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise in warm place until doubled in size (about two hours).
Make into cinnamon rolls or sticky buns. Let rise second time (about one hour) after rolls are made.
Bake 400 degrees 20-25 minutes.
