Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups Albers White Corn Meal
1 tsp. Salt
3 1/2 cups boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Pour Corn Meal and Salt into a bowl making a hole in the center. While stirring, pour enough boiling water into the hole until it's like a crumbling cookie dough. You may not need all of the water. Once it is mixed together pour all into a heated cast iron skillet. Cook slowly, continually stirring, until cornmeal is crumbly, dry and lightly browned.

To serve, Grandma Bruderer placed a small amount into each bowl and added enough Hot Cocoa to just cover it.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Ribble was a staple at Grandma Bruderer's house. I remember eating it there and my Mom (Darlene) learned how to make it from her. I believe it is an acquired taste. Not everyone cares for it. It took me a long time to learn to like it but occasionally when I'm feeling sentimental, it hits the spot.
