Directions:
On medium speed in electric mixer, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light. Mix flour in well. Chill. Take a level teaspoon of dough, wrap around a chocolate kiss and shape into balls. Roll in ground walnuts. Bake 12 minutes in 375º oven. When still warm, roll in vanilla sugar or confectioners sugar.

Don't brown the cookies~ if oven too hot, lower heat to 350º

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Personal hand written note by Grace: "Set my oven at 350 and be sure and chill at least 2-3 hours-easier to handle and dough not as thick around kisses.
