4 tbsp. butter1 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tin campbells tomato soup
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c washed raisins
1/2 tsp. each ground cloves and nutmeg
1 c brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. cream or milk
1 c icing sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add soup ( don't dilute) flour. Mix well. Add raisins, nuts, soda & salt. Bake in oven 350 for 50 60 min in 8 x 8 greased cake pan. Cool before icing.
Icing - Put first 3 ingredients in saucepan on medium heat and bring to slight boil and stir for 1/2 - 1 min. Remove from heat and cool for few minutes and then stir in icing sugar, continue stirring till smooth. Add vanilla. Ice cake.
