1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 eggs
1 tsp black walnut flavoring
4 ox coconut
3 1/2 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cup flour
1 12 oz bag Nestle's

Directions:
Directions:
Roll in ball and flatten slightly on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 350º 14 minutes (depending on how big you make your cookies)

I dubbed these "Grandpa's Cookies" because Dad used to make them.

Dad used to make "man size" cookies and they took this long to bake. I make smaller size and cook less time. All comes with experience as to how big and how much time they take. (and of course your oven)!
