6 Tbs unsalted butter at room temp 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup flour (spooned and leveled) 1/2 tsp coarse salt 1 cup semisweet choc chips 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine sugars and butter with a wooden spoon. Stir in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in chips. Transfer to 10 inch cast iron skillet. Smooth the top.
2. Bake until cookie is golden brown and just set in center or 18-20 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before cutting.
