1 1/2 lbs ground pork
1 large baking potato
1 large white onion, minced
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp allspice
1/2 cup beef or vegetable broth
1/4 tsp paprika
2 - 9 inch pie crusts
1 egg

1.Bake or boil the potato until well done.
2. Preheat oven util 350 degrees.
3. Heat 2 tbsp oil and 1/2 tsp garlic in a large frying pan.
3. Add meat, onion, potato, broth and spices until very thick, for about one hour.
4. Add more spice, as needed.
5. Line a deep dish pie plate with crust. Spoon in filling, spreading evenly. Cover with top crust.
6. Brush top crust with beaten egg. Cut steam vent.
7. Bake for about 50 minutes. If edges brown too quickly, cover them with a strip of foil.
8. Serve warm.
