1 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
2/3 cup HOT water
1 cup melted shortening
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 heaping tsp of baking soda
pinch of salt
2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
chill dough in fridge and then roll out into cookie shapes. bake at 350º for 10 minutes
