1 stick butter, room temp
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla OR lemon extract
2 eggs-room temp
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder (fresh-not sitting around for a year)
2 Tbsp. half and half (or whole milk)

Frosting:
At least 4 c. confectionary sugar
Half and half or milk
1 tsp. vanilla OR lemon extract

Directions:

Preheat oven: 340º (she said 340 not 350!)
Bake: 9-11 min.

Cream together the butter and sugar for at least 5 min.
Add eggs and extract-mix 2 min.
Add dry ingredients and let sit for a while-at least 1 hr.

Roll into balls-place on Parchment lined cookie sheets.

Frosting: Start with 4 c. confectionary sugar and add half and half or milk until you like the consistency. Add extract.
