2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 c. flour
7 oz. 7-Up (or Sprite)

Directions:
Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add flour and 7-Up, alternately, beating with each addition. Add lemon juice. Grease and flour tube pan; bake in a preheated 300º oven for 1 1/2 hours.
