Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (Jif)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 bag of milk chocolate M&M's, Reese's cups, or chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add 1/2 cup granulated sugar, the brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Beat until combined, scraping sides of the bowl occasionally. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour. Fold in the chocolate chips.
2. Using a tbsp measuring spoon, scoop dough from bowl to fill the tbsp, and use your fingers to loosen the soft dough from the spoon, and then roll balls in the 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm (gently touch edge with your finger) and bottoms are light brown (check underneath with a spatula). Bake cookies in batches, placing one cookie sheet in the oven at a time. Once a batch is done, immediately press several M&M's or your choice of chocolate candy into each cookie's center. Then transfer cookies to a wire rack and let cool. Store in an airtight container for several days. Makes 36 cookies.

Personal Notes:
Peanut butter cookies are another one of Nick's favorite desserts. I like soft peanut butter cookies rather than crisp peanut butter cookies. I jazz up peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips because there just is no better combination. Add whatever chocolate candy you like on top, and you've got cookies worthy of sharing. We hope you enjoy these cookies as much as we do!
