1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup flour
1 envelope dried beef slices
2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over low heat in a 10 inch skillet. While it is melting, cut up dried beef slices in small pieces (a scissor works well for this) and add to butter. Sir in the flour and mix thoroughly. Add milk all at once and turn heat up to medium. Stir continually until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over toast, bread slices or biscuits.
