2 cups (12oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 cups (11.5oz) milk chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

Melt semisweet chips in top of double boiler over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat; set aside. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into small bowl; set aside.

Grease 13x9 pan. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar, until light. Add eggs one at a time, beat until fluffy. Blend in melted chocolate. Add half the flour, all of the milk, then the remaining flour, mixing well after each addition. Stir in milk chocolate chips and walnuts. Batter will be stiff.

Spread into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean. It is best not to over bake. Cool before cutting into 2-inch squares.
