3/4 c.of rice
butter
3/4 c. of sugar
evaporated milk
regular milk or half & half
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Boil rice with a little butter and water to cover rice (1/2" to 3/4" over rice). Boil until all the water is absorbed. Rinse in cold water and put in Pyrex bowl with sugar. Cover with 1/2" condensed milk and 1/2" regular milk or half & half and 1 1/2 tsp vanilla. Mix well. Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake at 350º. Watch until it boils and then stir it down. Rice will absorb the milk. Cover with just milk and repeat 2 to 3 times. On 3rd time DO NOT cook until all the liquid is gone.
