1 c soft shortening-one half of it margarine
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c flour
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 T sugar
1 T cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together shortening/margarine, sugar and eggs. Add the dry ingredients except for the 2 T sugar and cinnamon to shortening mixture. Roll mixture into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll the balls into sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10minutes.
