3/4 cup butter flavor crisco
1 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tbsps milk
1 tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
pecan pieces
chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
heat oven to 375º
combine crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in lrg. bowl
beat at med. speed with mixer until creamy
beat egg into mixture
combine flour, salt and baking soda and mix into mixture, until just blended
stir in chocolate chips and pecan pieces, drop rounded tbspfuls (about 2 measuring tbsps) of dough 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet, bake for 8 to 10 mins. for chewy or 11 to 13 mins. for crispy, cool on baking sheet 2 mins., remove to foil on countertop
