1 cup soft shortening
2 cups brown sugar (packed)
3 eggs
1/2 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/8 tsp cinnamon
raisins
corn starch
Directions:
Directions:
add sugar and water to raisins and thicken with corn starch
mix thouroughly shortening, brown sugar and eggs, stir in water and vanilla, sift together and stir in flour, salt, soda and cinnnamon, drop with tsp on ungreased baking sheet, place 1/2 tsp raisin filling on dough, cover with 1/2 tsp of dough
bake until lighty browned about 10 to 12 mins.
