3/4 cup shortening
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 to 5 pounds chicken (disjointed)
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup sour cream
1 cup light cream (optional)
3 eggs
1/2 cup water (For Dumplings)
2 1/2 cups stiffed flour
2 teaspoons salt (For Dumplings)

Prep the Dumplings First: Dumplings Nokedti: Blend together 3 eggs, 1/2 cup water 2 teaspoons salt and 2 1/2 cups stiffed flour. Add more Flour if necessary to make a stiff batter. Drop by spoon full into boiling salted water.
Let cool 10 minutes and Rinse with cold water, devin.

Chicken Paprikas
Brown chopped onion in shortening. mix in other seasonings. Add chicken, brown for 10 to 15 minutes. Add sour cream in dripping pan and mix well. If more gravy is desired add in the light cream. Add dumplings. Arrange chicken on top and heat trough and serve.
