2 c. sugar 1/2 c. white corn syrup 1/2 c. water 2 egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. walnuts (chopped)
Boil sugar, syrup and water to 246 degrees. Add 1/2 of this syrup to the stiffly beaten egg whites, pouring slowly and beating constantly. Cook remainder of syrup to 255 degrees. Add it slowly to 1st mixture beating constantly. Beat until mixture begins to hold its shape. Add vanilla and walnuts. Turn into a greased pan. Cool. Cut.
