1/4 lb butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup milk
2 cans canned fruit
3/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in baking dish. Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and milk. Pour batter into butter. Do not mix. Add fruit. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake 5 minutes at 450º then 45 minutes longer at 350º Serve with whipped cream, or ice cream if desired.
