"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

With the maraschino cherries, this cookie is nice to serve at Valentine's Day, Linda Wright's birthday, Christmas or while celebrating Indiana basketball. Substitute the red maraschinos with green and they work for Michigan State games, St. Patrick's Day or Randy Wright's birthday.

There is no healthy substitute for anything in this recipe, it's just good butter, sugar and chocolate.~Marty
