1 1/2 lb. round steak
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. melted fat
1 c. hot water
1 lrg. onion

Directions:
Directions:
Trim excess fat from meat. Cut into serving pieces.
Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Place meat on breadboard and pound into meat.
Melt fat in heavy fry pan.
Brown meat on both sides over medium heat.
Add water and onions and cover.
Cook over low heat for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

This recipe was found in one of Barb's numerous recipe boxes. This was a favorite of her brother Butch. When Barb and Dave had Butch and Mary Jo over for dinner, this was ALWAYS what Butch requested. (with LOTS of mashed potatoes)
