1 c butter
1 c water
4 Tbsp cocoa powder
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c sour cream

ICING
1/2 c butter
6 Tbsp milk
4 Tbsp cocoa powder
2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F. for the cake, combine the butter, water, and cocoa in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil;set aside.In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt & soda. Add all the chocolate mixture all at once; stirring to combine. Add in slightly beaten egg and sour cream together; pour in bowl and mix well. Pour batter into a lightly sprayed 18x12x1-inch pan and bake for 20 minutes.

2. Icing:Just before the cake is done, make the icing. combine butter, milk & cocoa in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Cool the cake slightly, then pour over cake. Sprinkle with pecans.
