Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb venison, ground
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 15 oz can of Sloppy Joe sauce (I like Hunt's Manwich Original)
olive oil
whole wheat buns

Directions:
Directions:
Semi-homemade in the slow cooker -- easy peasy!

Cover the bottom of a saucepan with olive oil. Add onions and cook over a medium-low heat until translucent. Add the ground venison and cook until browned. Add more oil, if necessary, to prevent venison from sticking. Add the venison with onions and a can of your favorite Sloppy Joe sauce to a slow cooker; cook on low for 8 hours.

The slow cooker really enhances the flavor of the Sloppy Does. Serve on grilled whole wheat buns with sides of homemade coleslaw, chips, and cottage cheese.

This is a great potluck dish, but use junior-sized hamburger buns to get more bang for your buck!
