1 stick butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 cup chopped pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, bananas, and lemon juice. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased loaf pan or two small loaf pans. Bake at 375º F for 1 hour.
