1 CUP OF SUGAR
3 TSPS BAKING POWDER
1/2 TSP SALT
1/4 TSP NUTMEG
1 STICK BUTTER MELTED
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
2 EGGS LIGHTLY BEATEN

TOPPING INGREDIENTS. 1/2 SUGAR, 1/2 CUP FLOUR, 1/2 STICK BUTTER.

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.
SIFT TOGETHER ALL DRY INGREDIENTS.
BEAT EGGS WITH BUTTERMILK AND BUTTER.
MIX INTO DRY INGREDIENTS ( DO NOT OVERMIX).
SPOON INTO MUFFIN TINS
MIX TOPPING INGREDIENTS UNTIL MEALY
SPRINKLE ON TOP OF MUFFINS. BAKE FOR 20 TO 25 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.
