1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening (margarine)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. quick oats
2 c. chocolate chips or mini M & M's

Directions:
Directions:
Cream first 5 ingredients. Mix in flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add quick oats. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
