1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. shortning
2 c. flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
cook raisins in water for about 5 min. save 3/4 c. of the raisin water. drain the rest. add cinnamon and the soda to the liquid. then add to the rest of the ingred. add nuts if desired. pour into 9x13 greased pan.
bake 350 for 20 - 25 min,
while still warm drizzle powderd sugar frosting over the top.
