2 Cups (1/2 pounds) Elbow Macaroni- cook according to pkg directions
2 Tbs Butter or Margarine
2 Tbs flour
2 Cups warm milk
1/4 cup skim milk(powder)
To taste: salt, pepper, and paprika
2 Eggs
1 Cup Med Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Wheat Germ (Optional: 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Bread Crumb's)

Directions:

Melt butter in pan, mix till smooth paste with flour. Slowly add warm milk and powdered milk season to taste and stir over low heat till mixture is smooth and begin to thicken. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Stir eggs with fork and then beat them into sauce. In lightly greased casserole arrange layers of macaroni(cheese, and then sauce) etc. Top with cheese and wheat germ.

Bake @ 375' till cheese melts and begins to brown.

Note: I mix cheese in with sauce before pouring it over macaroni. Usually right after I mix the eggs into sauce.
