1 1/2c. mashed bananas (2-3)
1c. Brn. sugar
1/2c. butter
4T water
1tsp. vanilla
1tsp. bkg.soda
dash of salt
1 egg
1 1/2c. flour
1/2c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Mix egg, water and vanilla, then add to sugar and butter mixrure. Combine flour,salt and soda. Add to liquids alternate with crushed bananas ending last. Mix in chopped nuts. Cook at 350º for about 45 minutes in a sprayed 8 x 8 pan. Cook about 20 minutes for cupcakes.

My family loves this cake with peanut butter frosting. Use I container of Vanilla frosting and 2 heaping T of peanut butter. Easy and delicous.

This recipe makes great cupcakes too.

This is a must with any of our family dinners. We always have other desserts too but this is the first to get cut into. I make this and the cupcakes ahead. It freezes well and keeps for a good 6 month in freezer.
