Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 large onion diced fine
3 to 4 pounds group beef
(in large chunks or small meatballs)
2 packs onion soup mix
6 cups chopped cabbage
1 quart water and 1/4 cup beef soup base
1 quart V8 juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cook till cabbage is soft (about one hour)
Add 2 to 3 pounds frozen mixed vegetables
2 (28 oz) cans of diced tomatoes or whole peeled
1 and 1/2 cups Prego spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup brown and white sugar mixed (total 1/4 cup)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons onion salt (optional)
3 cups diced potatoes (to your taste).
Cook for about one hour. (add the potatoes the last half hour)

You can use soup pasta in place of the potatoes or use both.
