2 ¼ cups flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 cup BUTTER flavored Crisco
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 t. vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups (12 oz. pkg) chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat Crisco, sugar and brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl.
2. Add eggs, beat well.
3. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
4. Stir in chips and nuts.
5. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
6. Bake in preheated 375º oven for 9-11 minutes until golden brown. Let cool on cookie sheet.
