Aunt Pat Hallam’s Snickerdoodles
Mix thoroughly:
1 cup soft shortening (buttery kind if possible)
1 ½ cup sugar
2 eggs
Add:
2 ¾ cups flour
2 t. cream of tartar
1 t. soda
¼ t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients until well mixed.
2. Form dough into small balls the size of walnuts.
3. Roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
4. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
5. Let cool completely on cookie sheet before removing.
