Ingredients:
2 1/2 tsp. dry yeast
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 cup water
4 1/2 tsp. shortening

Directions:
Put dry yeast into the pot. Add all remaining ingredient except the water and milk. Warm the water and milk in microwave until lukewarm. Carefully add the water and milk to the pot. Follow the directions for your bread machine to knead the bread. Allow the dough to sit until it has doubled in size. Remove from the pot onto a floured surface. Dough can be placed in a greased loaf pan and allowed to rise until doubled again and then cook in the oven, or you can cut the dough in half and roll out to fill with your favorite fillings such as broccoli and cheese, etc. and cooked on a baking sheet. Breads should be cooked in a 425º oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove immediately from loaf pans or from baking sheet and cool on a wire rack.
