1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup peanut butter (I prefer Adams creamy)
3 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream the 1st five ingredients (sugar through vanilla).
Stir in the peanut butter until blended.
In a medium bowl add flour, soda and salt then add to creamed mixture. Mix until thoroughly blended.
Drop by rounded Tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of floured fork to make a crisscross.
Bake at 350º 8-9 minutes.

Line cookie sheets with Parchment Paper for easier cleanup. Rather than using a Tablespoon, use a spring action ice cream scoop for larger cookies.
