2- 15 oz cans green beans or 1 quart home canned drained but save the liquid
5-strips of bacon fried crisp
2 tblsp flour
1/2c sugar
1/3c cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon crisp, remove
Add flour to bacon grease and cook stirring constantly for 1 min
Add sugar and stir till combined then Add vinegar and reserved bean liquid.
Stir till thick and smooth
Add beans and cook till hot
Crumble bacon and add to beans.

This was a staple in the Harper family when Dave was growing up.
