Cake-
1 cup milk
1/4 cup frys cocoa
1/2 cup margarine
1 egg
1 cup brown sugar packed
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Icing-
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk less 2 tbsp
dash of salt
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Cake-
Slowly add milk to cocoa-mix well. Cook over low heat-stirring constantly till slightly thickened (about 5 minutes)
Remove from heat. Add butter, egg and brown sugar. Beat well. Sift flour and dry ingredients, add to cocoa mix. Add vanilla and beat well 1 minute.
Pour batter on greased wax paper in 12x12 shallow pan or cookie sheet
Bake 12-15 minutes or until done. Cool and cover with icing

Icing-
Mix sugar, cocoa, milk, salt and cook till soft ball stage at 234º. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Beat till thickened, about 1 minute. Spread over cooled cake
