1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 ts.p baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt

Topping: 1 tbsp. sugar,1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over to 400º

Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs thoroughly. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, salt, and baking soda. Shape into 1" balls. Roll in topping. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2" apart. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Removed from cookie sheet, cool, and enjoy!
