This makes 8 times and you may want to cut down.

Boil together 8 c. water
8 teas. salt
Stir in 2 2/3 c, cornmeal mix with 4 c, cold water
Return to boiling point. Stirring constantly.

Pour into mixing bowl.
Stir in 2 22/3 c. molasses
12 Tabl. shortening

Cool mixture to lukewarm
Dissolve 6 pkg. yeast
2 cups warm water
Add corn mixture well with 32 cups of flour

Form into loaves and put milted butter a little salt and corn meal on top
Bake 40-45 minutes at 375 degrees
