2 cups buttermilk
1 cake yeast

1/2 teaspoon soda
2 Table. sugar
2 Tea. salt
4 cups flour
2 'Table.. shortening


Directions:
Directions:
Have buttermilk at room temperature. Add yeast and allow to soften. Mix. Add part off four mixture to yeast. Mix well. All rest until dough forms ball. knead quickly until smooth. Roll out 3/4 inch thick and cut biscuits. Let rise in a warm place about 1 hour.

Bake 450º for 15 minutes. When done brush lightly with melted sweetened with a little sugar
