Ingredients:

PUDDING
2 cups dry bread crumbs
1 cup sugar
1 cup raisins
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter (little over 1/4 cup)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice

LEMON SAUCE
Mix the following and boil 3-5 minutes: (note: mix sugar & cornstarch together first then add water)
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
ADD:
1 Tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
OPTIONAL ADD:
2 Tablespoons brandy or whiskyOR lemon juice (one or the other)

Mix all ingredients together and steam in double boiler.
